Was photographic editing available in law enforcement, healthcare, business, and home computer systems in the early 1980s thru the mid 1990s?

Research Justification:
A child suffered a major injury, causing temporary blindness and potential brain damage. Photographs were available showing pre and post healthcare services which showed significant amount of blood and vision impairment with the patient on a hospital bed in a hospital gown. The photographs were shared with a young sibling by the Father of the injured child. The birth parents were divorced, with both parents involved in long term romantic relationships. The two young children lived together in a two parent household and went to the same elementary school.

Technology Question:
If photographs can be manipulated to make it look like an accident and injury, can human statements also be manipulated or changed to make it look like he has no scarring? Can his memory be altered to believe something else happened without changing official records?

What is the purpose of altering photography?
Digital Surgery is used, along with Airbrushing to improve photography in images only. Physical Laser Surgeons might use Digital Photography to show potential surgical goals and outcomes. Small applications, available online are used to enhance or change images.

Other purposes are not often discussed in open settings are used to present false evidence for court cases, insurance, and online representation.

If new technology exists that can close a case, prosecute a violent felon, show evidence of a specific ‘string’ theory, or chain of injuries, then the cases can and should be reviewed, but legal and technical intent must be considered. It is not clear if permission to use the photography or the human itself (physical body) is required to ‘study’ the matter or reopen the case for the purposes of education. If it affects more than the person photographed, then discretion must be used, along with protection and confidentiality. Expectations must also be managed.

This is written for the purpose of human memory recollection, hearsay, stories told to children by others, 25 year post injury report on multiple victims, and legal outcomes.

// – is used as to note an end of statement. Nothing else was collected/reported.

The family stories shared with other family members were as follows:

  1. He got into a carnival accident and I sued the company and he was awarded $10K, placed into a trust fund and given to him when he turned 18.//
  2. He was at the carnival on the ‘teacup’ ride; he fell off the ride, and I yelled at the carnival guy to turn off the ride and he didn’t and it kept going round and round and his head was caught in a small area and the metal kept hitting him every time it went around. Finally they shut it off.//
  3. I got about 48 stitches.
  4. It healed nicely, no obvious vision problems, no speech dysfunction, able to express reasonable emotion.
  5. No objection to the case story and outcome was presented by the other minor child because in the 1980s/90s children were not legally questioned or were able to recollect participation in the legal case.

Two family members spoke about it. The child suffered a broken arm just a few years later.

  1. I was up the street playing on a tire swing at James’ house. I was drinking, don’t tell mom. Expressed reasonable emotion in response to pain, not angry.//
  2. Arm was swollen, Doctor confirmed the forearm was in fact broken, and a cast was placed on his arm for 2-3 months.
  3. His arm began to itch and he used a wire hanger to scratch it lightly, as needed. Light prescription pain reliever. No evidence of self harm.
  4. Friends and family signed his cast.
  5. He appeared happy and not angry or in pain.

Photography can in fact be manipulated. It is unknown if technology was connected or submitted as official evidence on record, combined with healthcare, law enforcement, and the judicial system. Memories can also be manipulated using more advanced techniques than hypnotism. Current photography can also be manipulated to remove the minor scarring on his face, but these are only digital images, where the human body is not changed and is not cosmetic laser surgery.

Can the legal case be reopened if new evidence surfaces that proves the child was possibly attacked by a violent person or enables the advancement of medical technologies, brain and memory scanning, such as the 360 MRI machine?

New evidence must be presented to reopen the case.

Justification to Reopen the Case:

Stockholm Syndrome
Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome
Evidence of Drug Crimes and Domestic Violence (After Injury)
Death of the Negligent Responsible Party
Multiple Head Injuries in Immediate Family
Memory recollection of possible child abduction (child was accused later in a court case and lost her first born)

Not long after the photographs were shared, the other child was tied up with ropes, duck tape on her mouth, and recalls it being a ‘playful’ memory without intent of harm.

The memories were recalled in connection with a Child Custody case, where both parties were questioned on their mental and parental fitness, alleging sibling violence.

Later, the two children were separated, by the request of one parent, post injury and domestic violence without police intervention.

25 years later, the girl recalls another injured victim related to the case, also suffered a broken arm, telling her to be quiet and telling her not to tell, that she was “crazy.” The girl’s case remains confidential to protect her story and identity. The girl also suffered a head injury a few years later, down the road at another residence, by other person related to the case, listed as a county’s most wanted violent felon. Only one person went to prison in the case.

Three other head injuries took place, and the injured victim still experiences what seems to be random but systematic pain – not visibly documented, with no system to actually document or track the origin, or solution, or prosecute the criminal responsible for the injuries. Additional injuries now include Parental Separation, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Victim of Domestic Violence

The violent criminals went free, not investigated but continued violent and illegal acts. The case is in review.

The reason incident, accident, and law enforcement reports are required are to manage the case, but Humans are required to contact authorities, file reports, duplicate the information, wherein, changes in environment impact the statements, as does timing, influences, rewards, and punishments of both the victims and criminals, as well as the laws regarding freedoms, prosecutions, and the development or changes to systems. Victims, such as small girls seem more likely to forgive, especially when they see that behavior has improved, but fear of falter or another criminal act or injury still exists.

Memory replacement is an available and recommended solution, if the truth is gathered and known first, not ‘created’ or reengineered to fill in the blanks or to create a false reality. This is a common and natural brain protection mechanism in order to reinstate feelings of safety or an attempt to stop a specific outcome. If this becomes a regular pattern, it is considered delusion, with possible necessity for long term hospitalization if the victim chooses or without their own control and decision making in personal action, becomes a danger to themselves or others.

Memory replacement or thought management is used for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Patients to replace trauma with something more soothing and comfortable, to remove the physical and mental pain of trauma. A similar approach is used for those with Substance Abuse Disorders, with learning how to manage replacements and frequencies until the underlying need for replication in quantity is determined. Some simply replace addictions with new addictions and go from one ‘thing’ or ‘substance’ to another. The same is true for victims; to assess their personal injuries until they can completely remember each incident and recollect effectively. Some feel the need to count them in order to make decisions for their personal safety and possibly the safety of others. Counting injuries and incidents is not a problem as long as the memory does not manipulate its contents or the contents are not manipulated by someone else. Victims who make contact with their abusers are often manipulated into believing it is their own fault, or that their behavior caused the violence; which may or may not be true; an act called ‘provoking’ bad behavior.

Young girls and women who wear provocative clothing might believe it is acceptable to dress however they choose, not knowing or being concerned about how others feel. The same is true for irritating sounds, constant movement, and anything done that affects someone else in a shared space. It is not the clothing, but the behavior and motivations of people that is of greater importance. Also is the ability to speak openly and make respectful requests without fear of harm, another incident, prosecution, or retribution. Fear is a natural emotion in response to the possibility of losing something or someone of value.

In matters of sexual allegations and crime, it is important to maintain distance until the truth is clear and the bad or unacceptable behavior stops. In cases where young women are free to make their own choices and are learning how to behave or what is considered acceptable and likeable to themselves and others, it is important to protect from peer pressure, bad leadership, bad influence, and give enough freedom and guidance to make healthy decisions. Mental manipulation is a tactic used to force a confession, where some officials just want an answer and it does not have to be right or wrong, only to finish the case or assignment, often overlooking important details. Long term cases of ongoing and significant crimes and injuries require more in depth study, although we hope for swift justice using Due Process Laws, along with our constitutional rights, with many of those rights unknown or not remembered, possibly because of the injuries or other reasons.

“Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” – Equal Rights and Protection Under the Law; a Right to a Fair Trial”

There are no clear rights that entitle or protect the Brother/Sister, Father/Daughter, Father/Son relationship, and all the other 1:1 relationships and how complex family relationships can be, especially in combined and shared properties or households, but it is well know that when a significant injury or allegation occurs, the matters change.

Photographs have potential to last longer than a single lifetime, therefore it is important to consider how one is portrayed, preserved, protected, and displayed and should be considered in daily life and online activities.
